I displease being alive…

Me and some ‘friends’ have started a new production studio / making / something not too serious called “I Hate Life Productions Presents”, yes “Presents” is part of the name. You know cause we cool like that. Anyway, our first ‘movie’ called “Confirm Identity : Inferior Human” will be released soon. It’s about an angry, depressed, poorly constructed robot who is taking a interview. It’s mostly in-jokes between us and we find it funny. You won’t but still. I’m thinking about about a review of the best movie made ever “A Cry In The Wild” which we have watched the first 15 mins but it’s so epic and well ‘acted’ that it must be praised!

Standing On Our Head: The Australian American Game Releases! Part 1

Australia and American relationship between game releases aren’t that great. They got Rock Band before us, they got Gears of War before us, Elite Beat Agents, not only that but we got the PS3 delayed and Xbox 360 delayed twice! Even though we live a bit further away then Canada still, a same day release isn’t impossible, there is still no excuse. Anyway, I’m going to take you through the wonderful world of Australia / American releases dates. I have already talked about Rock Band so here we go…

Elite Beat Agents: American Release Date: November 6, 2006, Australia May 3, 2007.

This game was a Japan game called Osu! Tatakae! Quendan and was released July 28, 2005. I’m sure Americans would of made such a fuss about it if there was an English version released but it didn’t instend they made a different game with the same gameplay as you see in EBA, now that fine and dandy but when you don’t release it for 9 months! then you got a problem. I’m not bad mouthing EBA, infact it was the first game l ever bought on day 1 but still, you’re telling me that you can’t ship a DS game, an not every sought game at that for 9 months then there is something wrong. They have not been doing well we releasing some DS, like Contra 4, has not and I’m pretty sure will not be released here and l have not the faintest clue why. The game sold well in North America, why not here? I’am planning to buy it off Ebay. Anyway check back for a later date for another one of these “features”

Rock Band will never threaten to stab you.

So Harmonix has annouced that Portal’s end-credit song Still Alive is coming to Rock Band by downloadable content, which is fantastic because anything Portal related is ok in my books. But what’s not ok is the fact that MTV not only hasn’t released Rock Band in Australia, but they don’t even give out a guess, 2008 is not a guess. I can see why it’s delayed seeing the size of it but come on, they released Halo 3 Regular, Limted and Legendary all on the same day in most countries (suck it Europe) and that’s 3 seperate boxes for a popular game. Now you’re telling me that MTV can’t release a game even across the US borders! I’m sorry but I’m sick of Australia getting screwed over in media releases!

This chicken sandwich

As I’m eating this chicken sandwich and making this blog and thinking “What the hell do l type here”. I have no idea what to type so I’ll type what l have on my mind. At the moment I’m eating a chicken burger and watching Neighbours. I recently move from a different blog site but after hearing that Jeff Gerstmann’s blog uses WordPress l decided to ‘jump ship’. Although this site has the same linking problems as the last one (doing wierd things to stop the next letter to not be a link) but l can get pass it.
